Sorry I had to remove some of the slide shows but they were causing quite a bit of trouble in loading the site that I had no choice. I know you can go into my photobucket and see them at any time. I will try to have more of them available in there for any who would like to see them.
- Monday - It was Troy's turn to give FHE. He talked about having a different outlook on life. Minimize stress by laughing more, putting things into an eternal perspective, the law of compensation and remembering that we are beloved children of God and that He loves us and will always watch for us.
- Tuesday - Tyler had Cub Scouts and my evening was a bit hectic, I just can't really remember why.
- Wednesday - I cleaned the house, washed all the laundry, went to a Parent Teacher conference for Eric and found out that he is getting better at recognizing the alphabet. It didn't matter how much I worked with him last year he did not have the desire to learn it. He has been getting better in math also. He just doesn't enjoy drawing and coloring at school. At home he does just fine, but he is always in a hurry to get his projects done in school. After the conference I had a Primary Presidency Meeting.
- Friday - My Edward Movie (Twilight) came out and Alison and I went to see it. There were more teenagers than adults, and more women than men. Troy refused to go with me so we the girls went and had so much fun. I have to say that I think they could have done better. I understand that sometimes movies are a lot more different but I think they could have done better. Some of the scenes it looked like the actors were inexperienced. Alison loved the movie and wants to read the book now. So I will just need to hold her off for a little while because I know she won't be able to stop on the first book, and I don't think she is ready for that kind of reading just quite yet.
- Saturday - we worked hard in cleaning the garage. Troy hung the bikes up from the ceiling and thus he has a lot more space now in his shop bay. I told him to do that when we first moved in but he made it his own idea just yesterday. I am happy that he finally has some space to work in now.
- Sunday - We kind of had another argument because of the dog. We had a little meeting after Family Council to decide what the dog is and is not allowed to do. I have had a hard time with being a pet owner and I am trying really hard to overcome some of my personal phobias. Hopefully I will be able to let go and enjoy having the dog. He is a good pet and he is very obedient and seems to sense when I am stressed and he rarely crosses me, it is more on the keeping the environment clean that I have a hard time. Hopefully I will get my own issues so that the kids and Troy can be happier in having Bear. Don't get me wrong I love Bear, it is just the smell, and other little issues I have. We did not have the normal Sunday dinner today. We had Pork Chops and Sweet Potatoes with Marshmallows and I think Eric had 5 servings of the potatoes. We were able to plan for Thanksgiving and Eric's Birthday (same day). It was funny because he wants the dessert we had today - Sweet potatoes with marshmallows - and the Bochness' Carrot cake. A friend of ours makes THE BEST carrot cake I have ever had and that is his very favorite.
We hope all is well with our family members and friends. We love each and every one of you. We are grateful for the love and friendship we have from you and pray that the blessings you've been praying for will be answered by our loving Father in Heaven.
