the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

I would like to say that Mormons DO NOT practice polygamy, and that we ARE Christians. I think a lot of people believe the rumors that are spread about us, and it is strange how these rumors would be started.  I have had some interesting experiences lately. I had a talk with Kali yesterday about the church.  We talked about families, and missions.  Every time I talk with someone about the church, my testimony gets stronger.  I know that this church is the true church, and that the Lord loves us.  I know that the Lord calls people to lead his church.  In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

I want to share with everyone what my church is all about.  I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints ( otherwise known as Mormons).  Mormons is the politically incorrect term for my church.  It is a nickname commonly used by people that don't really know about the church.  In 1830, our church was established under the direction of our first latter-day prophet, Joseph Smith.  He translated the Book of Mormon, another testament of Jesus Christ.  This means that it doesn't substitute the Bible, instead, it is a companion to the Bible.  We are Christians, contrary to what every one believes.  This last weekend, we had the privilege to listen to General Conference.  This is a time we have to hear revelation from a living prophet.  This helps us to be more Christlike, and know what we can do to be better.  I know that this church is the one true church.  I have searched for myself to know if it is true.  I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of the Lord and that we have a living prophet on the earth now.  In the name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.
