Amazing FHE by Eric

This last Monday, was Eric's turn for FHE. He gave a lesson about the birth of Jesus Christ as it is in the "Behold my little ones" Nursery manual. He read most of the things he was going to say and he did a fabulous job. But what impressed me the most, were the questions he asked from his own little mind, I had nothing to do with coaching him or even bringing those questions to his attention.

Basically he said in his lesson: This is Jesus mother. Her name is Mary. His father is Heavenly Father. Jesus came to earth because Heavenly Father loves us. He was our Savior and an example to us.

Than he asked these questions:

1. Why did Jesus pray?
2. Why was Jesus born on the star night? (Meaning why was there a new star when Jesus was born?)
3. Why did Mary put Jesus on the hay?
4. Why was Jesus put on the cross with nails when the other two people, the soldiers used ropes?
5. Why did Jesus have a stick hat? (Meaning why did Jesus have a crown made out of thorns?)

I was baffled by the simplicity and profoundness of his questions. I think these are very valid questions for us to think about at all times and specially during this season.
